Justin majors in Professional Writing with a minor concentration in Digital Communication & New Media at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. He is currently slated to graduate in December 2017 and will pursue a career in either political or sports journalism.

As the Sports Editor of the university’s Keystone Newspaper, Justin keep the KU community informed about the various athletic activities taking place throughout the school year; he also assists with layout and design of the print edition. He is active with the school’s annual literary journal, Shoofly, which features student-written poetry, fiction and drama. Justin writes a political and music column for The Home News and the Blue Mountain Town and Country Gazette, respectively.

When he’s not writing, Justin enjoys playing and watching basketball. He has been a die-hard fan of Philadelphia sports his entire life.

It’s extremely important to learn about addiction and diffuse stereotypes that aren’t necessarily true. Addiction is similar to many mental illnesses in that it is something out of the control of those affected, and something that they have to deal with their entire lives. Addiction is not a choice, but a disease.
