In September 2018, eleven college students volunteered their time and skills on a holiday weekend to confront the issues of domestic violence and sexual assault. They interviewed, photographed, recorded, and wrote the stories of people who were willing to share their traumatic experiences in the hope of helping others. The print book the students created represents these people not as victims, but as resilient, strong, and hopeful individuals who survived horrific situations and circumstances to move forward with their lives. To learn and grow and find healthy relationships. To love again.
